Tim Aaron Grubb. Drop the Grubb, it's Tim Aaron. Tim is husband to Mary, daddy to Tristan and Colby James, and leader of the TAB. Someday Tim and his lovely bride would love to adopt a little girl, but they await the leading of God in that area. Tim has no pets currently, but loves dogs and cats, although he has no time to take care of said animalia.
When not rockin' the worship grooves or working the real job as an electrician, Tim enjoys movies, pizza, solo jamming at home, and LOST on the tube. Tim's musical career started at the age of 14. When diagnosed with Crohn's disease and no longer able to play sports, Tim dove into guitarisms and began singing again. After playing guitar for high school show choir and a few alt rock/ska bands in high school, Tim was captivated by the love of Jesus Christ at age 18 and began playing for the worship team at Fellowship Community Church in Norwalk, IA. After years of playing guitar, bass, drums, and vocalizing for the worship team, Tim lead the band SoulFire for three years. Then Tim was lead to accept the worship director position at F.C.C., which is when the Tim Aaron Band got it's lift off. Tim has since resigned from the worship position at Fellowship Community Church, and is incredibly excited to be the worship leader for Westwind Church in Waukee, IA, which will officially launch in September of 2008. Tim's gear: Taylor T5 Electro-coustic, maple with burst finish. VOX AC30 amp, Marshall Bluesbreaker for boost, Line 6 DL-4, Boss TU-2, and a Boss AB switch for going electric to acoustic or vice versa, thus utilizing the tremendous versatility of the T5 guitar. |
